Interested in renting our classroom for a private event, class, or exhibition? Fill out the form below and we will be in touch!
Located at ART House 360, a new multicultural art workspace at 401 West Verona Avenue, downtown Verona, the Slate Blue Studios classroom is literally that -- an updated classroom in an historic 1917 schoolhouse.
We offer tons of natural northern light, a sink with counter and exhaust hood, vintage worktables and standard chairs.
Any artist, aspiring creative, or arts entrepreneur who is looking to work out of a vibrant and respectful community.
Slate Blue Studios is a resident company of ART House 360 in downtown Verona. AH360 is bustling with working artists of many disciplines. There may be music, conversation, performances, classes, or other distractions. Some artists thrive in a busy work environment and others may not. We can't promise quiet, but 24/7 access allows coworking members the flexibility to try different times of day.
The glass doorway of the coworking studio allows visitors to see our working artists. The door is closed to the public except for special events for which you'll receive notice.
The open plan studio space does not have walls or barriers between spaces; artists may create some privacy with shelving or other items as approved. Each tenant has a dedicated, outlined space and lockable storage.
This atmosphere is ideal for those looking for more community and support, as opposed to those looking for complete privacy in the studio.
Please be prepared to provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for a business liability policy and a completed background check. We'll be happy to refer you to resources.
If your students are minors, at least one additional adult must be present depending on the age group.
You'll be asked to sign a rental contract and liability waiver; a photo waiver and post-event evaluation form are optional.
Only studio artists and their approved studio assistants/collaborators will be able to access the space, and have lockable storage. Artists will be given a personal, temporary key code to access the studio 24/7.
There are security cameras in the hallways and doorways of ART House 360, but not in the studios.
We have a maximum of 6 studio spaces. Lease terms are flexible; after the term of your lease has ended, we will open the space up to new artists on our wait list.
Yes! Easels, tables, chairs/stools, lockable storage, some modest supplies, and other furnishings & equipment are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We have a form for consideration of requests.
Yes, we're happy to accommodate! However, please remember that all artists will have to sign the rental agreement, and that studio spaces are not meant to accommodate multiple artists simultaneously, with the exception of a short-term studio assistant as approved by the Slate Blue team.
No, while we welcome all, our space is limited. Artists requiring a temporary assistant may request approval.
