Our Mission
-
To provide affordable, messy studio space in support of underrepresented artists;
-
To offer a safe space for teens and adults to explore their inner lives;
-
To spark Verona's creative economy by connecting artists with small businesses for unique community events; and
-
To enhance community wellbeing through public arts initiatives.

Our Story
Slate Blue Studios is working to fill the gap in affordable, messy workspace for artists in western Dane County. We support artists as creative entrepreneurs, offering artist retail and exhibition opportunities, and lowering overhead through shared resources.

Now open at ART House 360 (401 W. Verona Ave. in downtown Verona), Slate Blue Studios offers flexible artist co-working in one studio and hosts uncommon visual arts classes in a second.
ART House 360 is a multicultural, multidisciplinary arts hub bringing greater wellness to our community through the arts. Its home in Verona's landmark 1917 schoolhouse is adjacent to the new Century School Park.
We can't wait to see studio artists create amazing works and glorious messes, provide a safe place for teens to engage in artistic expression, and offer an array of uncommon classes.
Now open at ART House 360: More workspace for more artists. One-of-a-kind art classes. Supports for unheard voices. A spark for Dane County's creative economy. And greater wellbeing for all through creativity.
